How often should you cut your hair?
On average, hair grows around 1/2 an inch a month, so with this in mind. . . .
To maintain shape, your hair will need to be cut every 6-8 weeks, bobs, fringes or shorter hair will lose their shape and balance if left any longer.
If your hair is prone to split ends, you will need regular trims to avoid the damage from spreading. If you wish to grow your hair, the split ends and any residual damage from colour/heat needs to be fully removed before the growing process begins. After-care advice should also be considered for in-between appointments to help avoid any new split ends.
If you want to grow your hair and the condition allows, you can leave it longer in-between appointments. We recommend 3 months for your maintenance trims.
